Jaguar F-Pace
Jaguar F-Pace
The Jaguar F-Pace was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015 after performing the largest ever loop the loop in a car ever. Guinness World Records confirmed the F-Pace successfully completed the 19.08m tall, 360-degree circle.
Designed by the same team as the C-X17 concept vehicle, the F-PACE remains true to the aesthetic of the award-winning concept.
Some of the core concepts from the C-X17 Concept have been realised in the F-Pace. A 100GB SSD is provided to store video, maps and music and a 1Gb/s Ethernet bus allows data to be transmitted about the car quickly.
The entire car offers a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices to connect at once. This provides data download and connections to plug into the car via the InControl app. This app can check fuel status, location, as well as lock/un-lock and starting the car to pre-heat or cool before ingress. The companion app can be used by others to show where they are, so the driver can find them for easy pickup.
Just Drive offers a voice-controlled in-car user experience for things like social media and music, including Twitter and Spotify.
The Jaguar F-Pace will offer two Meridian™ sound system options. A 380W Sound System with 12 channels of amplification and 11 speakers and a 825W Surround Sound System with 16 channels of amplification and 17 speakers and Trifield digital signal processing to provide surround and centre channel signals.
